Topic:The early report card!
Basic scripture: 1 Chronicles 21:1-13
Commentary: I am seriously led to remind and warn a soul concerning the story below:
A man prayed for spiritual power and anointing. He bought books on how to work in the supernatural and how to flow in the supernatural, including dry fasting and white fasting, but all to no avail. Then one day, he prayed that God should show him the secret of the barrier to why heaven had refused to use him. It was then God opened his eyes and he saw an angel that cane to hand him a report card of how God saw him. Below were the scores:
Gentleness. 1%
Love 5%
Anger 95%, pride 90%, holiness 1%, self control 3% , sexual sins 100% , evangelism 0. 1% , Doubt 80% , patience 1% , love for secret praise by people 100% , negative thoughts 80% , faith 3%.
At the bottom of the card it was written, "seriously below standard". What would have been your score using 5the above chart? Would you have been better? The year is running fast. Do an early, personal inner soul searching today. Aristotle said, "I could him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies;for the hardest victory is the victory over self. " Judge yourself! God weighed and judged king Belshazzar. He failed! Jehova Ebenezer is still on the throne as the saviour and the judge. Get your own report card from heaven. Will you fail? This is your day of escape from the accuser of the brethren(Satan himself)! Pray seriously now.
Prayer points:
1. Pray about today's devotional as led.
2. Lord shake me turn me into your image in Jesus name.
3. O accuser of the brethren, the Blood of Jesus is against you. I determine to block every loophole against you concerning my life, family, and ministry. I scatter your plans now in Jesus name.
4. Repent from any area of your life where you are below standard. (Judge yourself and you will not be judged. Make new commitments and dedicate your life afresh.
5. Pray any other prayer point(s) as you are led now.
