Check out,it's self-discipline.

Self-discipline is one of the most important and useful skills everyone should possess. This skill is essential in every area of life, and though most people acknowledge its importance, very few do something to strengthen it. Contrary to common belief, self-discipline does not mean being harsh toward yourself, or living a limited, restrictive lifestyle. Self discipline means self control , which is a sign of inner strength and control of yourself, your actions, and your reactions. Self discipline gives you the power to stick to your decisions and follow them through, without changing your mind, and is therefore, one of the important requirements for achieving goals. The possession of this skill enables you to persevere with your decisions and plans until you accomplish them. It also manifests as inner strength, helping you to overcome addictions, procrastination and laziness, and to follow through with whatever you do. One of its main characteristics is the ability t

Read,as motivation changes your life.

Belief in yourself is the beginning of self motivation and achieving your dreams. Without a solid belief in your own potential and abilities, you are doomed to failure and mediocrity. Self Motivation Fact #1 - YOUR DEEPEST FEAR IS THAT YOU CAN BE GREAT. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?” Marianne Williamson I believe that quote sums it all up. Many people are simply afraid to think of themselves as anything but average. The truth is – most people are average. The truth is also that most people don’t use their average ability. Most people live below their average ability. That means that even if you just utilized your average ability you could probably achieve great things. It doesn’t take much to excel in a below average world.

Sunday15th May, 2016 Topic: They told a lie but.... Basic scripture: Genesis   16:1-16 Commentary: A man in Malawi called his son in South Africa last week and said, " I hate to ruin your day but i have to tell you that your mother and i are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough ". " Dad, what are you talking about? " the son screamed. "We can't stand the sight of each other any longer", the father said. "We 're sick of each other and I'm sick of talking about this,  so you call your sister in USA and tell her".  Frantically, the son called his sister, who exploded on the phone, " like hell they are getting divorced", she shouted, "I'll take care of this". She called home immediately and screamed at her father, " you are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing untill i get there. I'm calling my brother and we wil both be there. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME? &

They said,it's anger.

An offender today can become your defender tomorrow! Keep no permanent grudge or bitterness because we all live in an imperfect world. Someone that hurts you today can repent before God and move on into the future to enjoy God's blessings, whereas you are still living in the past by your bitterness. Being bitter or angry is living in the past! Oh, Anger! It is an acid that eats up the vessel in which it is stored! It builds nothing but destroys everything! It is like a vehicle moving on a permanent reverse gear! For every minute you angry, you lose 60 seconds of happiness! No wonder the bible stated that, "he that is slow to anger is better than the mighty and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city"(Proverbs 16:32). That means controlling your anger makes you become the king of your life. Benjamin Franklin wrote: whatever is began in anger ends in destruction/shame. " Elizabeth Kenny opined: He who conquers anger conquers you ". Anger is an extingu

Self-discipline

Thoughts are causes and conditions are effects. Therefore, the quality of your thinking largely determines the quality of your life. The greatest mental principle is that "you become what you think about most of the time . " Top people in every field are intensively solution-oriented. They think about solutions most of the time. Instead of getting bogged down in who did or didn't do something or other, the most successful people in every field concentrate on the solutions and what can be done to solve the problem. The Sufi philosopher Izrhat Khan once said, "life is a continuous succession of problems, like Waves from the ocean. They never stop. " This means that your ability to practice self-discipline, self mastery, and self control when faced with the never-ending flow of problems, difficulties, setbacks, and temporary failures you will experience is essential to your Success in business and in life.

Friday May 13, 2016.   Topic: Anger broke his stones! Basic scripture : Exodus 32:1-19 Commentary : Remember that Moses had been called to Mt. Sinai to recieve the ten commandments which God wrote with his hands on two tablets of stone. While still with God on the mount, God informed Moses that the children of Isreal had gone astray and were already worshipping a golden image. Moses came down from the mount and in a fit of anger, threw down the tablets of stones and broke them. "And it to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' Anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount" -Exodus 32:19.  Wow!  Anger broke the two tablets! He cast the stones out of his hands! Was it God who offended Him? Were they not given to him by God ? Why break the stones? What will anger not cause?  Anger will cost you the opportunity to make a gaint leap and move to the next level. Remember that

Tuesday,May 3rd 2016. Topic: You attract what you respect Basic Scriptures:Galatians 4:12-16,Hebrews 12:14-17  Commentary: "Familiarity breeds contempt" is a popular, philosophical saying. It means extensive knowledge of or close association with someone or something which lead to a lot of respect for them or it. It means we value least the things which are most familiar. This is the nature of human. For example, the population in  Nazareth could not accept Him because He was too familiar to them. They saw Him as carpenter's son instead of the prophet (Mark 6:2-5).No wonder Jesus said a prophet had no honour in his own country     Indeed, there can be no prestige without mystery because familiarity breeds contempt, except in politics where it breeds votes! Distance brings respect and you must watch how close you are to some people. Deliberately keep your distance sometimes if someone is disrespecting you. Why did the Galatians lose their initials ,divine revelation rec

It Doesn't Have to Be Long

Perhaps the biggest lie Satan tells people about prayer is that it needs to take a long time. He will make you think you have to pray for hours before you have really prayed, but do you know that prayer does not have to be long in order to be powerful? The length of our prayers really makes no diference to God. All that matters is that we pray the way He is teaching us to pray and that our prayers are spirit-led, heartfelt and accompanied by true faith.   It is not the length of our prayers that makes it effective, but the sincerity and faith behind it.                      - Joyce meyer-

Monday, May 2nd, 2016.  Topic :The Battle for Spain:The enemy within.!  Text:Micah 7:1-10 Welcome to today's devotional encounter with He that maketh the judges of the earth as vanity(Isaiah 40:23).  Spain fought a civil war from 1936-1939. In that war, General Franco and his armies of loyalists were to attack the spanish capital-Madrid. The attack was actually carried out in four  columns  or groups. But before then, a substantial number of General Franco's men had been planted within the city of madrid with the plan of organizing widespread confusion and anarchy within the city, so that the four columns led  by General Franco himself could effectively overrun the Spanish capital (They became the enemies within). This military plan went well and the advance party of General Franco was called, "The fifth Columnists". In fact, the capture  of madrid would have been impossible without the activities of the fifth columnists (The enemies within). The practice is an
