Topic:They told a lie but....
Basic scripture:Genesis 16:1-16
Commentary: A man in Malawi called his son in South Africa last week and said, " I hate to ruin your day but i have to tell you that your mother and i are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough ". " Dad, what are you talking about? " the son screamed. "We can't stand the sight of each other any longer", the father said. "We 're sick of each other and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in USA and tell her". Frantically, the son called his sister, who exploded on the phone, " like hell they are getting divorced", she shouted, "I'll take care of this". She called home immediately and screamed at her father, " you are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing untill i get there. I'm calling my brother and we wil both be there. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME? " and hung up. The old man hung up his phone and turned to his wife. "I told you, it's done! They are coming home after many years. "I got from a friend and as you laugh all the way today, the Holy Ghost however wants you to know that: you do not have to tell a lie to prove the truth. The parents in this story had to lie to their children to enable them come home. You do not have to steal to give to God. You do not have to steal to give to God. You do not have to keep malice to make a point. You do nor have to commit sin in order to get married, pursue happiness or get a breakthrough! Two wrongs can never make a right! Use today's devotional to affirm that: Even in the lowest valley or darkest horizon, prayer is still the only way out! Whatever you do through the wrong way to get your testimony will only produce an Ishmael which wil lead to eternal regret minus your Isaac. Did Abraham not regret having Ishmael at last? Why did God tell him to drve the child and the mother away? Choose to wait on the Lord till God makes a way. Don't wait on your Brain. Delay is not denial, human effort is not divine effort and it leads to Sweat and bitter water at last.

Prayer points:
- Pray about today's word generally as led now.
- Repent from any way in which you have used a wrong method to try to get a testimony.
- Ask for the grace to wait on prayer and on the lord.
- Holy ghost cancel the consequences of my past wrong and iniquity.
- O you witchcraft headquarters monitoring my open doors; go blind in Jesus name
- Pray about today seriously and any other issue affecting your peace.
