Killing the JOY Killers!

1. Regretting the past: Research continues to show that repetitive, negative thoughts about decisions made in the past is often the genesis of chronic stress and depression.
2. Worrying about the future: Determine to live in the present! Face difficulties as they arise and let them go.
3. Comparing yourself to others: Don't compare yourself to others. You have no idea what they been through. You are born original, so don't die a copy.
4. Bad temper: Don't reply when you are angry and don't decide when you are sad. Don't promise when you are happy.
5. Life's Battles: When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile. Lemonades are made from bitter lemons, omelettes are products of broken eggs.
6. Unforgiveness and not letting go: To flow in divine peace and joy, you must let go and let God take control of every hurt. Letting go does not mean giving up, but accepting that there are things that cannot be changed by you.
7. Complaining on the battlefront: No matter what you are allowed to pass through, keep your head up. Complaining is not a conservation! Its a joy killer! Smile always! Sing like no one is listening! Love like you have never been hurt! And dance like nobody is watching!
8. Planning to quit: When you make up your mind to give up trusting God, it will suck your joy. If you can't run, if you can't walk anymore, even if you can't crawl, please by all means never give up! JUST KEEP MOVING! Rejoice by force, not because everything is good, but because you can see the good things in everything!
Life is like a roller coaster with highs and lows, with speed and slows, with screams and fearful encounters but please, just enjoy the ride and tell the devil that nothing can separate you from the love of God.
9. Selfishness: The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer someone else up! Happiness is a perfume you cannot put on others without getting a few drops on yourself! Thousands of candles can be lit from one single candle and the life of that candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
10. Thinking negatively: The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. Avoid negative thoughts! Fear of the future is a negative thought process that is often on auto pilot! Avoid it.
11. Your reaction to events: Note that, HAPPINESS is not happen-ness! Don't allow events that happen to determine your joy. Happiness is not happen-ness! It can be called Hope-ness! Be hopeful that what was meant for bad will be turned to good by God.
OTHER JOY KILLERS ARE: living beyond your means(debts) and living in SECRET SIN
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH! HOLD YOUR JOY!
