Topic:Greatness is little by little, step -by -step!
Basic scriptures: Ecclesiastes 3:1;Exodus 23:20-30.
Commentary:
Greatness is prepared for. It is not jumped into. The journey of 1000km begins with a step. The great success stories you read of in life and ministry today, began as little adventures. Life is lived by taking one step at a time. Be reminded a house is built block by block. Most people desire to get to the top in life, but are not prepared to start small to get to the top. You must be prepared to start with a right step even if it means starting small. You cannot build a house from the top. Note that the foundation of most houses are never seen, yet a house is as durable as its foundation. God could have created the whole world in 1 hour. Note even a day. But He didn't. It took him 6 days . This is the path of highest wisdom in the universe: step by step, phase by phase, precept upon precept, line by line. Start your business with the few hundreds you have. If you need large sums of capital to begin your business, go back to the drawing board. Don't regret your present level in life and ministry. Learn from daddy God. He told the Jews in Exodus 23:29 concerning their enemies, the Hivites, the Canaanites and Hittites , " I will not drive them out from before thee in one year, lest the land becomes desolate and the beast of the field multiply against thee. " Vs 30:"By little little, i will drive them out from before thee, till thou he increased and inherit the land. "This is God's pattern! Sudden success today, can invite the beasts of the field and can destroy your tomorrow. You will acquire your destiny and possess your possessions little by little. Be faithful where you are! ENVY NOBODY! Be faithful day by day and your end shall be bliss. Every destiny is timed;when you miss the timing, you miss the target. Think! pray seriously now.
Prayer points:
1. Pray about today's devotional as led.
2. Ask for the grace to be faithful and patient where you are now.
3. Any power using haste and murmuring to hinder me, l overthrow you by fire in Jesus name.
4. Enemies of progress, you cannot silence my progress this year in Jesus name(pray it seriously)
5. I resist the spirit of demotion and stagnation in Jesus name.
6. Pray any other prayer point as you are led today.
